All about CLAT
The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national-level entrance exam for admissions to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programs offered by 22 National Law Universities in India.
The test will be conducted offline, and the question paper will contain objective-type questions. The test will last 120 minutes.

Eligibility criteria for the CLAT Exam?
▪ There is no age limit prescribed for CLAT-2023.
▪ Candidates who have qualified Class 12 board examination or equivalent are eligible to apply for the undergraduate programme in CLAT.
▪ Candidates who are scheduled to take their qualifying examination in March/April 2023 are also eligible to take the CLAT 2023 exam. They will be asked to submit proof of passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission, failing which they will lose their right to be considered for admission.
▪ Candidates must secure the minimum percentage of marks in their qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2 or an equivalent).
▪ Forty Five Percent (45%) Marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to General / OBC / PwD / NRI / PIO / OCI / Categories.
▪ Forty Percent (40%) Marks or equivalent in the case of candidates belonging to SC / ST Candidates.

▪ There are several alternatives for acquiring a promising career after going through CLAT.
▪ Judiciary (Judge or Lawyer), Indian Corporate Law Services through UPSC, as a professor or lecturer in Law, etc., are some of the careers after clearing CLAT.
