Celebrating Maharashtra Day at Cambria International School and Junior College

On the first of May each year, Maharashtra Day, also known as Maharashtra Divas, is commemorated to mark the state’s formation in 1960. Coinciding with International Workers’ Day or May Day, the occasion holds dual significance. To honor this day, the faculty and staff of Cambria International School and Junior College came together for a flag hoisting ceremony, accompanied by a harmonious rendition of the patriotic song “Jai Jai Maharashtra Maza.” The event exemplified camaraderie as greetings were exchanged, fostering a shared sense of joy and community spirit among all participants.
